My deep green forest met up with a blue still ocean
Silhouettes of unvoiced thoughts touched our souls;
Knowing that one taste from this salty water
And all that I am will be swept away by this current
Yet still, in the quietness of this hidden need
Lies an unwavering desire to ground my roots
To shake from my existence a reckless seed
That will provide this untamed heart with new fruits
My leaves float three dimensional in the waters of her mind
Rocks and pebbles shape me as I drown in my heart so unkind
Now lost in faded colors that left but only a stain
My heart sings to the ocean, as my forest consumes her pain
A stolen breath hangs between the sound waves of our tongues
There is an ocean in my forest that gives air to my dying lungs
Silhouettes of unvoiced thoughts touched our souls;
