breaking down the castle

Braking down the castle in which I hide
I have built these walls so strong so high
That nothing can enter

When I built it it was built in fear
With hurt
With humiliation

Braking down the castle in which I hide
In which I trapped myself with my worst feelings inside

Brake down the barrier walls and let light in
Brake down the dungeons and let life begin to sing
Break down the bridges that lead form anger to hatred
Break it down
Better yet burn it
Let it be a sacrifice to the God's of live
To show them that I will not give up this fight!

I will go hunting to find the perfect pieces to build my palace
I will not build a castle in which to hide
I will build a palace and in it we will celebrate life
The gates will never be barred
No bridges we travel by boat from the garden through the moat

Come to my palace come with me bring all the colours that you can see
And let us dance sing and praise
For life is sing a song to which we can dance for all of our days.

Now you doing it right girl!! on all levels!! this work is well thought out, well brought over, has a sense of hope and self acceptance!! see told you you were worth so much more!!I love this piece on so many levels!! I said once in another persons work that i will only read and comment on work that shows respect towards the poet and the reader this piece does that in style!!!!
