Desperation a suffocating cloud
As fears are never uttered loud
'neath the surface broils and coils
The dark force ev'ly toils
All eyes are shut, ears tuned away
To keep the evil here at bay
Why not just run, just walk away
Leave dark Africa dark to stay
Where violent death is a breath away?
Her waters run too deep in blood
Our bones are filled with her mud
Her heartbeat pulses in our veins
Her rythm do us all sustains
Cruel and violent always she
Harsh and wild she will ever be
But stronger than the fear her lure
