On The 12th Day Of Christmas
My true love gave to me ...
12 drummers drumming,
11 pipers piping,
10 lords a leaping,
9 ladies dancing,
8 maids a milking,
7 swans a swimming,
6 geese a laying,
5 Gold Rings ......
4 calling birds,
3 French hens,
2 turtle doves,
and a partridge in a pear tree
It seems my stay at Serenity Farm has come to an end – I am being held accountable for the “misconduct” of Chef Franko – how was I supposed to know I was going to receive 12 drummers drumming from that no good fruit loop – he should be here – not me ... any Chef got terribly over excited and collapsed and I ended up finishing the whisky so it seems no help for me .... well maybe going back to society will not be a bad thing – maybe I can learn to cook things that are not mostly achohol based or at least develop a sense of balance I think is what they said .... but to end on a great note I think we should head off for one last recipe...
Whisky Sling
20 mls boiling water
30 mls whisky
5 mls sugar
Juice of half a lemon
Dissolve the sugar in the hot water and lemon juice and heat
Add the whisky, stirring well
Pour into and old-fashioned glass
And drink up .... *hic*
