The gentle breeze sways
the tall trees from East to West
illuminating the silver moon.
The patriotism of this creation
is so intense it inspires a butterfly
to soar through uncharted skies.
It is so passionate in its servitude!
It produces no light,
yet in darkness of night
it reflects second-hand beams, bright,
of revelation to bring comfort and sight.
Little children sleep tighter,
now that the monsters of darkness
and imagination
are kept at bay by the humble servant.
Even when the mist of the unknown,
veils its presence from sight
it penetrates the gloom
with newfound perseverance.
The serving moon is in no way vain!
It desires no praise;
only appreciation of God’s power!
